Early Years

We understand the importance of an effective start to a child’s education. We offer a fun, stimulating and caring environment allowing the children space to grow independently and develop the confidence needed to take on new challenges.

We recognise that each child has unique talents and our goal is to encourage them to achieve their full potential across a wide range of activities. We aim to foster a love of learning within a broad and balanced curriculum adopting a modern and innovative approach, igniting an enthusiasm for learning that will stay with each child for life.

The Early Learning goals set out what most children are expected to achieve by the end of the Foundation Stage. They are organised as seven areas of learning:

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
• Physical Development
• Communication and Language
• Literacy
• Mathematics
• Understanding the World
• Expressive Arts and Design

Wraparound Care

We run a Breakfast Club each day at 7:30am, allowing busy parents to drop their children at school from 7am.  We serve a selection of breakfast options, both hot and cold so parents can rest assured that their children have started the day with a substantial and nutritious meal.

Our After-School Club programme caters for children of all ages.  We offer a wide range of activities such as drama, cooking, Lego and gardening.  A homework club is also on offer for those children who wish to finish their homework in a quiet environment. Children can stay at Grove Villa until 18:30pm, offering parents greater flexibility for the collection of children, safe in the knowledge that they are happy and well cared for.  For children who are staying past 4pm, an evening meal is served.
