Why Choose Us
Home from Home
Grove Villa is designed to feel like a home from home whilst still offering an education so that your children are ready for their next adventure. We offer a happy environment to nurture all the children. You will not only find us providing the highest standards in safety and security, but we believe in empowering your children to be the best they can be.
Out and About
We give priority to daily outings within the local community, such as local parks and walks, as well as further afield. Daily outings such as these support the development of healthy and active lifestyles by offering children opportunities for physical activity, freedom and movement, and promoting a sense of well-being. Out and about will also give children contact with the natural world and will offer them experiences that are unique to outdoors, such as direct contact with the weather and the seasons.
Grove Villa offers parents/carers the opportunity to have a home visit. This will be an opportunity for the child’s key person and a senior member of the team to visit the child in their own environment where they feel most confident and secure. It is important that their key worker develops a rapport with both the child and parent/carer to ensure effective two-way communication.
Our beautiful allotment site will be transformed to provide opportunities for children and families to engage in creative outdoor learning and play. Our allotment will offer families access to sustainable, locally grown, healthy food as well as the knowledge and skills to grow and cook own food.
Creativity can transform understanding by fostering critical thinking, allowing children to review, reinvent and make new meanings for themselves. Our goal is to surround children with creative opportunities; nurturing their imagination and giving them the space to discover their own creativity.
Children need to discover the world for themselves, we just need to bring the world to them.
“When children come into contact with nature, they reveal their strength” Maria Montessori.
“Let the children be free; encourage them; let them run outside when it is raining; let them remove their shoes when they find a puddle of water; and, when the grass of the meadows is damp with dew, let them run on it and trample it with their bare feet; let them rest peacefully when a tree invites them to sleep beneath its shade; let them shout and laugh when the sun wakes them in the morning…” Maria Montessor
